The original cables attached just fine to this new bracket/roller assembly. I guess you could make the doors manual by turning the automatic door switch to off. **Q: One reviewer suggest keeping the original door bracket and just replace the roller section of assembly for proper door alignment. is this possible?** A: The assembly you will get should be installed as sent. Your old bracket may have wear to it depending on how long it has been bad. Adjusting for proper fit is not that hard. Trace around old roller bracket on sliding door with sharpie before removal. Install there and you should be good. Find a good youtube repair video. Passenger door now slides without hesitating and backing up again,Not the easiest job, but search YouTube for some excellent videos on how to do it. Took my son and me about 45 minutes from start to finish.When I removed the old bearing it was obvious that one of the rollers broke off. Removing and reattaching the cables b is the worst part of the ordeal. That alone took almost 15 minutes.!!!Door works like new and cost almost nothing. Use painters tape on the body the length of the door travel to avoid scratching the paint. You will need a jack (floor Jack preferably) and wood to hold the door up after you remove the roller assembly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work well and easy to replace *by H***Y on March 29, 2025* Worked as intended, watch a few YouTube videos before attempting this. Very cheap replacement as the Honda Odyssey is built like a frigg'n tank and the door weight was not thought of when these were built.
