It’s mesh, so if you are using it for barking or biting it is likely a more comfortable fit for your dog. Unfortunately, my dog is a poop eater and that is why I purchased the muzzle. The mesh was an over-sight on my part because she is still trying to get the poop and I am left with a disgusting mess in the mesh fabric! Not the fault of the manufacturer, however. Just know this muzzle does not work to prevent your dog trying to eat 💩! I honestly believe it would work for most dogs and it was easy to pick the right size. I also loved that my dog could still drink water and receive treats. The mesh fabric just didn’t hold up to my dogs efforts to escape. She tends to be a strong chewer, and is very motivated to scratch at and chew herself for lots of reasons. I’m sure this isn’t the fault of the product.
