A: No, the skates are side by side in the bag. It a really good bag also.

**Q: Will my impala skates size 9 fit in this bag?**
A: Yes, but it was difficult trying to fit size 13 skates in it.

**Q: Will this fit size 10 men’s quad skates?**
A: No! I have size womens 10 and they barely fit in this bag.

**Q: Will this fit the Mach size 10 men's speed skates?**
A: It should is the wheels are not huge in width. It looks small but once unfolded I was able to put my old school full boot skates in it with room for tools and extra stoppers.

Finding a bag to fit adult skates was more difficult than I thought. Especially, when companies don’t specify appropriate skate sizes/dimension for their skate bags in the items descriptions. This bag is durable; however, I’m not sure if this bag is water proof. It doesn’t matter for me as I won’t be skating outside - let alone in the rain.
