I clamped it to the heat vent, and due to the phone holder design, I am unable to adjust the heat vent at all. Maybe people with other types of automobiles won’t have that problem. I also personally prefer a release button on the side rather than the center back, it’s just easier for me to reach. I tried to get used to it and allowed my return window to close. I still decided to buy a different phone holder that is more like the one I used to have.
