**Q: Are Kusmi teas kosher? What are the natural flavorings that you use?**
A: I'm no authority on strict Kosher laws, but it made with no protein from animals or seafood if that is any helps. I love the flavor but am unhappy with their new plastic bags rather then sealed tin cans which in my opinion insured freshness

**Q: fermented tea?**
A: No.  This tea is not fermented.  It is a black tea in the earl grey variety.  It's delicious and my favorite flavor by Kusmi.
