I have a 20 year old martin dreadnaught i thought was a goner but this has made it enjoyable to play again. My newer 2 year old martin needed a tweek as well and im not so fearful of twisting that rod anymore.1/4(25*) to 1/2(45*) turn at a time, let it sit for a day or two and test the action. If you are straightening the bow, remember to loosen the strings a half step or vice-versa.Also, invest in a humidifier. Both my guitars just love water. A constant 71* kind of mimics winter up north; the dryness. Ive adjusted my newer martin twice now as its stabilized and its really nice to be able to fine tune it without leaving it at a guitar shop for weeks let alone the price.
