**Q: Does the handle stay of relatively cool when there is hot liquid in the mug?**
A: Hi Bryan.  Due to the mug and handle being made of steel, yes, it does transfer heat.  The edges are rolled which helps dissipate some of the heat.  Sorry we don't have temperature results...but basically with steaming hot water the handle was warm to hot, but not too hot to hold.  The sides of the mug were too hot to hold, but the handle was OK.  Sorry, I know this is subjective, but in our opinion in our "test" it was not too hot to hold.Hope this helps.ThanksAndy

**Q: what is the inner diameter for the cup?**
A: not exactly sure, about three inches or so, they are much wider than a normal coffee cup, but kinda squat, they are also quite lightweight, not like the enameled camp coffee cups of the old days. they do hold a lot of coffee compared again to conventional coffee cups

**Q: Whole cup stainless?**
A: It’s hard to tell enameled except the rim. Very thin walled, fine for home use wouldn’t camp with it a in a backpack. Like it though!

**Q: Silly question are they microwave safe?**
A: No, this mug is not microwave safe

Good size tin cups for camping, unfortunately rolled edge catches on beard. Ouch! Probably not a problem for those of you clean shaven campers. Good, durable cups otherwise.
