**Q: How to shorten the cord?   It’s too long for my pool**
A: I don't think there is a way to actually shorten it but you can loop it through itself (if your pool is above ground) through one of the openings on the side and that will make it a little shorter.

Works ok but, I wish the stretch band would have been a bit tighter. My pool is 35' in length and I can almost touch the wall while swimming. The elastic cord should be a stronger or maybe shorter. I'm happy with this product servers my purpose.
