Dump the St. Ives ~ - I just recently ran out of my go-to exfoliant, the Boscia exfoliating powder (which retails for around $30), and must say that I'm surprised and delighted to find that my experience with this scrub is comparable at a third of the price. Given how thick the formula is, I only need to use a dime sized dollop or so to cleanse my face. As such, I suspect this tube is going to last me a long while which is another plus. Review: My Favorite Cleanser - desertcart was out of my usual rice cleanser, so I decided to try this one. I certainly wasn't disappointed, and I now have a new favorite. This is a wonderful cleanser. It's rich and thick, if you use it correctly. You'll need to apply this to a damp face. Then, just squeeze a little of the cleanser onto your wet hands, and rub them together until a nice foam forms. Then, apply to your face and scrub with either a cloth or a battery operated brush (I love the PMD, which is for sale here on desertcart). This is marketed as an exfoliating cleanser, and it does contain tiny particles of rice, which certainly brighten the skin, but it won't really exfoliate anything other than the dead skin cells that are clinging to your skin. However, we really can't ask a cleanser to do much more than that. (I also have the PMD exfoliator, and that works wonders.) While this cleanser won't give you a deep exfoliation treatment, it will remove all the "bad stuff" on the surface of your skin and leave it feeling wonderful and looking brighter.
