But if you go to the web page and search on "nutrition facts" it will show up. It is low glycemic with no sugar. **Q: Once opened how long does it last?** A: According to the manufacturer, Simply Thick ® The product is safe to use for 12 months after its manufacture date, either opened or unopened shelf life. There is no reason to discard product up to and including this date. After 12 months, there is not a safety concern, but the product may not thicken as efficiently and you may need to use more. How long it will last you depends on how often you use it and if you are making a nectar thick (thinner) or honey thick (thicker). I make honey thick drinks and use it for about 4-5 12 ounce drinks a day. The jug has lasted me about 2 ½ weeks. It is so much better than any powder. It has no taste and is easy to mix. If I make a pureed meal too thin, I just add this gel and get the right consistency. It is so important our loved ones don’t aspirate; it is a bit expensive but so worth the price to prevent an aspiration pneumonia. I hope this helps. **Q: Swallowing pills is an issue. Will this liquid thicken to the consistency of SlimFast to make pill taking easier?** A: Haven't tried this yet am buying today to try, I see no reason it wouldn't but you could use apple sauce or yogurt, greek yogurt has the most protien if that is your concern. it's what we use for our Mom to take her pills. I can tell you this product, by description & reviews will work much better than Thick-it, which does NOT thicken completely right away, so if you get it as thick as you need it & don't finish it right away, it'll turn to thick sludge w/in 1/2 hour. It also has the problem of the thicker sinking (as with water) so you have to stir it up again or you'd be serving water that was too thin. If you want to stick to SlimFast, should do what you want. (Also, FYI, AdvantEdge brand makes a lo carb protein shake with about 17 grams of protein at about 110 calories, <5.50-$6 for 4-pack at Walmart, haven't checked SlimFast lately but it used to have a lot less protein than that.) **Q: How Many Calories In It?** A: The bottle says it has 5 calories per serving.
