I looked this printer up on the Epson website and saw that it is a general, all-purpose machine that does everything (and which got mixed reviews). Given that it uses a 4-color drop-on-demand MicroPiezo inkjet technology, I don't see why this paper would not work with this printer (since the paper does very well with the MicroPiezo technology, although I would wonder that with just 4 colors, whether the photographic quality would be as high as that of a printer that has 6 ink colors. I would suggest that you call Epson and ask them about this. One other thing, Epson ultra premium photo paper glossy is listed under the list of paper types for the wf-2540. Your best best is just to try it. One last thing I want to point out, (and this is strictly my opinion as someone who tries to save money!), this paper is very high quality and you only need it for really special prints that you are thinking about matting and framing. I was really surprised with the quality of the paper and the quality of the print. I'm glad we just ordered the paper rather than having them printed at the local drug store, the quality is just as good and it was a lot cheaper. One of the prints failed 3/4 of the way through due to a network error, not related to the paper. About 30 minutes later after I had finished the rest of the prints I decided to put a few drops of water on the failed print to see how it would hold up...once it dried you couldn't even tell it had been wet. So then I just ran it under the faucet for a second and it dried out and still looked liked new. I can't say how it will hold up long term, that is probably more related to the ink than the paper.
