As in could i take the drawers out and still use the compartments in thr freezer??** A: Yes, there is a shelf underneath each drawer that just have small drainage slots in them but the shelves don't come right to the front so would not hold asmuch as if the drawers are in place. Frost free would be good, my other under counter is but is twice the price.
