wonderful cable for laptop user with external drive
This is a wonderful cable - it lets me move my laptop around while connected to my external drive, without pulling the drive over.Update - one year later - the cable appears to be failing. Maybe that's typical for a cable that moves a lot. Unfortunately, this cable is no longer available. Love the concept, so searching for an alternate supplier/brand.

Way too long but thats my fault.
This wire works perfectly with my Toshiba external hard drive. It's extremely long at 9 feet. More length then I would ever need. It is a bit cumbersome but I can't fault anyone for that i didn't pay enough attention when ordering it so I will leave my five star review because I got exactly what I ordered. Just be cautious about the long length if you don't need it.

Worked as promised where other more expensive cable offered on Amazon Prime (TNP USB 3.0 Cable - Micro-B to Type A ) did not.
All I can say is that this cable worked properly straight out of the box where the slightly more expensive TNP USB 3.0 Cable - Micro-B to Type A also sold on Amazon did not. That makes me a satisfied customer!
