It feels reasonably solid/ sturdy and is okay to move around at around 27kg. If it was 6.35mm thick it would be too heavy to move. **Q: Can you smoke a side of salmon** A: i found the Azuma a bit flimsy compared to the Braunfels i had previously but it does the job. I have smoked the fillets from 14Lb trout in the Azuma with really good results.
