I ordered one, loved it, ordered another a few months later, and there was (initially) a problem: The second time I got it, it was clearly an earlier model or something because the boom arm didn't match what the pictures showed or what I received the first time. I emailed customer support and heard back within 24 hours, I then sent pictures in response to the email from Celia, a very helpful and friendly customer service agent. After that, they shipped me a new product without me having to first return it and wait forever. It came after about 3 days of the report. They even let me keep the extra mic. The mic is surprisingly great quality, the boom arm is very sturdy and quiet, and overall solid quality design. 100% would recommend.

**Q: I already have a phantom power, would an xlr to 3.5mm adaptor work or what would I need to buy? Trying to avoid paying $100+ for an interface.**
A: If you’re just plugging the microphone into a phone or computer with a 3.5mm, that won’t provide enough power. I’d recommend getting a small audio mixer with 48V phantom power. I found one for just $50 and it works just fine.

**Q: I have a k-sound sound card and am using an ebxya microphone 48v phantom power supply and when i connect them together all my friends here is static?**
A: Sounds like a bad cable or cheap microphone. Try a different mic and/or cable to see if it changes anything.

**Q: Can I use this with a umc22 behringer ?**
A: This is a condenser mic and requires phantom power. In looking at the UMC22 I see it has a switch for 48V phantom power. So it should work. I use it with my Behringer XENYX 1204USB mixer, but I do have to turn on phantom power for it to work.

**Q: Can I attach this mic to any boom arm?**
A: Hello, the thread size of TC20's shock mount is 5/8", you can attach it to any boom arm with the 5/8" interface.

As others have noticed on various reviews, the clamp for the swing arm base is kinda useless in the real world... The swing arm itself is pretty nice, and well built. The mic is, well, interesting. I hooked it up to a Bogen MX60-A tube amp, that I added phantom power to. The sound quality is pretty nice when you are inputting at low levels, such as speaking quietly. The one thing I did not like was when you have a more aggressive input, such as a musical instrument or singing, the mic gets a substantial amount of distortion going on. It is also highly susceptible to angry aggressive feedback... I am unsure if that is a design thing, or something common on cheap condenser mics. My other mic is a SM58, so I don't have a good comparison. Anyway, it works pretty good, and would be excellent for podcasting, blogging, youtube and the like. I need to get a stand alone power supply for the thing, then I will be testing it on other platforms. If I find something really good or bad at that point, I'll update. UPDATED 1-22-21 I purchased a external phantom power unit for this mic and plugged it in to a more conventional amplifier. The sound is still what I would describe as grossly overmodulated at all but very quiet levels. Sounds good at a a Very Quiet spoken level, and starts breaking up at normal to loud conversation levels. All in all, I'm just not impressed.
