**Q: Do you make a clamp on adapter plate to fit a 2.25" rail ? will it work with the cannon 5st?**
A: I’m sure sure what you’re trying to accomplish. I bought gimble mounts for mine and move them from boat to boat.

A: Yes it's a two part base,that swivels or locks

**Q: is it spooled with line?**
A: With cable

**Q: Does this unit have a line counter on it?**
A: Yes it swivels when I am not using it I swivel it parallel to the side of the boat and when I want to fish I can swing it out perpendicular to the side of the boat

Item was a mess!! The wire was in a huge knot. The spool was not properly locked in place thus creating the backlash. Had to completely disassemble the unit it untangle the wire AND correctly lock spool in place with a HIDDEN Allen key that ia inside of the main spool. Totally unacceptable for a new product!
