Review: Yolink is a great system! You're gonna feel so much safer! - We bought this to go with our new Yolink leak detectors so we could have a central location for an alarm. Once we hear it , I check my app and it tells me where the leak is detected. The notifications are easy to understand and I've had no issues with the range of each sensor with the alarm. We also bought the Yolink door alarms and the Key FOB (which is mainly for my husband who doesn't want the app or the notifications). Both are compatible with this alarm also. The app is really easy to setup and use. We had a different kind of door sensors before Yolink and I'm really glad we swapped to Yolink. I feel safer with this Yolink alarm.

**Q: Can somebody tell me why I would need a siren if 8 alexas in my house would warn me of a leak?**
A: Yes, because when the internet is down or got the power outage, all the Alexa will not work. But the water leak can trigger the siren without internet. If you installed the batteries in the siren, even there is power outage, the water leak can trigger the siren. Thanks!

**Q: Does the siren stay audible after it is triggered until someone turns it off?**
A: YoLink Siren Alarm will automatically disable the alarm according to the Alarm Duration setting via YoLink APP, the default setting is 30 seconds.
And other ways to turn off the Siren Alarm are as below.
1, Press the SET button on the Siren Alarm.
2, Click Disable button in YoLink App.
3, Press the relative OFF button on the YoLink Remote (sold separately).

**Q: Is there a way to have door sensor trigger siren when door is left open for x amount of time? Also, can closed door sensor shut off siren?**
A: You can set the siren to go off @ 10 seconds and up.  You can set it up to go off when open and/or closed.

**Q: How any sensors can be connected to hub and alarm**
A: One YoLink Hub supports 200 YoLink devices in real test. And you can add one or more YoLink Hub to expand signal coverage.
One YoLink Siren supports up to 128 YoLink devices in total.

I’m totally blind! The first thing I noticed about this when I took it out of the box. I noticed a switch on the left side of it and that it had a screw hole on the back to mount it on a wall. I next felt around on the back and found the battery cover. I wondered what the slide switch was for being it has 4 point altogether. So I put 2 AA batteries in it and nothing happened. So I slide the switch up one spot and the siren sounded. I slid it up another spot and the siren got louder! And the top spot is the loudest setting. I really like that. Makes it easy for a totally blind person to be able to set the volume without having to guess how to set the volume. I also noticed that the Micro USB port is on the left side as well. My own thinking is I think that the port really should have been on the bottom. That away when it is put on a wall, the cable comes out the bottom and not the left side. On the front of the unit is a button in the middle. This button looks to manually start or stop the siren. Took the batteries back out of it and then scanned the QR code on the siren and plugged it into USB power and the unit came online to the hub. Then I put the batteries back in and plugged it back into USB power. The rest of the stuff as far as I can tell, needs to be done from within the App. Looks like you can set the siren to sound anyware from 10 seconds to never shut off. You can also control the siren with Alexa if you have your YoLink account connected up to Alexa. Alexa turn on Siren. Alexa turn off siren. You can also use it in Alexa Routines as well. The YoLink App. As far as automation needs improvement for a totally blind person to use that function of the App. There are unlabeled button in the screen that make it so a totally blind person trying to setup automation for the siren to have to do it by trial and error. But I did get it done. I currently have it setup to turn on the siren when the motion detector that is in the mailbox triggers. It is responcive when motion is detected. It triggers about 3 seconds before the Alexa routine announces that the mailbox door is open!
