Good remote, but a few things to be aware of. *by J***U on 18 October 2024* Followed the well written instructions, and paired with my Sony a7iii camera. Wouldn't work! Eventually discovered on the camera menu, you need to go to next page and switch "Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl" on. Then found out the focus and the zoom didn't work. The zoom I knew about, as it will only work on electric zoom cameras, but had to fiddle about with camera settings until I found out that simply setting manual focus on the lens isn't enough, as I usually do for everyday photography, you have to set manual focus on the camera body for the focusing to work with the remote. Got it all up and running now, and pleased with this remote. Bear in mind, the focus is very slow, so the object you are photographing should be roughly focused on so that there only fine tuning to get your subject in sharp focus.
