I normally use the other brand which is taller and has a smaller tenderizing base. In my opinion this one is much better. The base is larger, but the handle is shorter, which allows more control. This tenderizer is easy to use and easy to clean. Tenderizing is quick and easy, tenderize in half the time. I used this on a thick cut sirloin, it took less than a minute to tenderize. The meat was very tender and juicy. I was really happy with the way my food turned out. Here are the pros and cons of this product.Pros: Larger base, stronger blades, shorter handle (allows better control), safety lock, blade cover, small cleaning brush, easy to use, easy to cleanCons: None at this timeI would recommend this product. ### ⭐ Horrible design *by B***0 on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2016* Horrible design all around. First, it requires so much effort to push the protective shield out of the way that your nice thick steaks end up paper thin. Second, the device is far from water tight. Just washing it under running water fills it full of water. Third, the springs block one entire row freon even being cleaned. Boy was I wrong! This thing is AWESOME. Turns New York strips as tender as fillets plus you still get the fat content. Seer the steaks on high and no juice loss. This also allows the meat to be seasoned in a zipplock bag almost instantly. I have used this on steak,chicken, and pork chops all came out great.
