I took it apart again to test the solar panel with motor only; and it appears the gearbox is fine it is the solar panel that is FUBAR.DON't waste your money!!!UPDATE: so i did not want to accept defeat being an engineer!I took it all apart and actually confirmed that solar panel and motor are working just fine.
