It is not a "pet cleaning" product. It is a "pet stain cleaning" product. The word "stain" makes all the difference here. **Q: Does this product help eliminate pet urine odor?** A: Yes, if you catch it right away and be sure the product reaches all the way through the carpet, not just the surface. For pet stains that I didn't catch right away, I found repeat applications were necessary. **Q: I have a red microfiber couch marked clean with ( W) alot of carpet reviews- will this help on couches? my h dogs have stained with licking marks** A: I honestly don't know about the microfiber. I have a red couch, too, but it's corduroy. The cleaner works well when I let the foam sit for a minute before brushing. I hope this helps. **Q: Has anyone had the problem that your dog does not like the smell?** A: I don't like the smell. My dog threw up in my car, some got on the carpeted area so I bought this. Followed instructions, so far so good, but the smell is very strong in the small space of a car. Very industrial perfume-ish.
