Review: Worked great for us! - We bought the 10 foot ramp to use for our steps into the house and to get my aunt into our minivan. It is pretty heavy but no problem with 2 fairly strong people. My daughter and I were able to set it up and folks it up. I like the legs. Once we got our system down on how to open and get it placed, it worked well. If you are using to get someone into a minivan, you will want to consider their height. My aunt is about 4'9" so she could get through the door and sit without any threat of bumping her head on the top of the van if we went over a bump. She's heavy though and the ramp never felt like it would fall through. We took the back of the van seats out and used 4 tie down straps to make sure she was fully secured into place. To set up and folks up, a very strong person could do it but it's easier with 2 people.

I needed to raise a wheelchair (total weight 200+ lbs) up a 7" high threshold. By pulling the patient backwards up the ramp, this was a safe and secure transfer to the upper level. The 2' length was my initial concern, but the advantage of portability - it fits easily into my trunk - suggested the purchase. It turned out to be an ideal compromise for usability. I'm well pleased.

**Q: Do they have to be screwed into the floor**
A: You can use the ramp without screwing it to the floor, the back of the top extension board is equipped with anti slip pads to prevent the ramp from moving. However, using pins will be more stable.

**Q: is the anti skid coating water resistant?**
A: Not a great ramp the anti skid is not great

**Q: I want. 5 foot ramp**
A: Sorry, this ramp is only available in 2 'and 3' sizes. You can take a look at the ramp MR607W-5.

**Q: Will this ramp work for 1 9" step?**
A: If I understand correctly, you are asking if it will work on 1 step that is 9 inches high. The instructions state: Using height range is 3.2"-8.9".Best recommended using height is 5.9". So based on that you are 3' higher than recommended.  I would recommend buying a longer ramp. Longer ramp allows more height. You probably need a 5 to 6ft ramp.
