I haven’t given it to her yet but I opened it. It’s really hard to open bc there’s a little black piece of plastic around the latch (included in my pics) and I thought it was apart of the latch so I had a hard time figuring out how to open it. TAKE THE PIECE OFF!! Once the piece is off, then you can just press the button and the case will pop open. The tools seem pretty sturdy. They’re a nice sleek black metal. I hope my wife loves it. It’s a pretty good little kit for the price I paid. Please stop putting that plastic piece on the button though. I looked at the questions and it seems other people are confused and having trouble opening it as well.
