bought these 12inch subs from rockville to replaced my yamaha blown stock ones and the rockville are amazing. There great replacement speaker for deep bass and plenty of rumble. Im using my pioneer vsx 454 and it pushes those 12s perfect. Very powerful for the price. i was very impressed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not actually 8 ohms, but still great value

I purchased these for a budget home theater project. First off I must say a few things. For the money, these are some fantastic subwoofers. I don’t have a ton of experience with many different brands of audio equipment, but these are fantastic for my taste. They’re loud and have great sound quality, along with a simple aesthetic. Now, my only complaint is that they’re not actually 8 ohms. When I received my subs, I wired them down to “4 ohms” to my amp, which is rated 4 ohm stable. However, when I tried powering it up, the amp went into protect. I was very confused at first, but I suspected it might be an impedance issue. Sure enough, my ohm meter said they were actually about 7.4ish ohms, and when wired down were around 3.7 ohms. I wired them up instead, around 15 ohms, which gets the job done nicely, but it would’ve been nice if they were rated accurately. Overall a great product.
