The mc-20 is not available from any source for normal price. Not evEn Canon USA has them. There is a chip shortage. So those just happen to have some a jacking up the price. **Q: Why is canon constantly backordered on things like this? not sure i would have bought the pro-1000 if i had known the poor availability for inks, etc.** A: I buy all my Pro-1000 supines from Red River Paper in Texas, rarely a problem. **Q: So you empty it when it is full?
