Review: Nice screen, good keyboard, fast machine! - I didn't buy this for gaming. I bought it to have a fast machine with good graphics that would be easier for me to see when I can't plug in a larger monitor, and I wanted something that will last for years. This does the trick. I don't have a touchscreen and don't do gaming so couldn't rate those.
Review: Very, very good. Only one or two flaws. - What do I like about this laptop? -Value for money: you won't find a laptop that looks and feels this good for the price with the specs. Build quality: immaculate. It's not metal, but it's damn tight nonetheless. No screen or keyboard flex, and it feels as solid as a brick-- not overly heavy, just solidly built. Screen quality: amazing. The 240hz display really shines, and the colors are very accurate and vivid. Some other laptops in this price range only cover about 60% of the srgb color gamut, but this one is very close to, if not 100%. For a gamer or someone not doing precise art or visual editing, this is fantastic. Response time is great at 3ms. The included asus software is intuitive for the most part, but I do still have to mess around with it a little bit to master some of the more advanced settings. Thermals: the thermals are typically in a very good range, even under load. I don't own a desk, so I have it resting on my bed when gaming-- that's typically bad for cooling. However, I've kept an eye on the temps, and it hasn't yet gone into a range where I felt it was in danger of throttling. The computer itself stays cool to the touch too, with the exception of the heat vents. Fan noise: even at full speed, they're not annoying. They don't have the higher pitch that some other laptops have (ex: acer helios 300). And when you put them on silent mode? They're inaudible. The keyboard will take some getting used to, I think? But it's still good. The arrow keys are shrunk a little, and I often hit the caps lock key instead of the a key. Also-- can't find the number lock key to turn the trackpad into a touch numberpad? Not a big issue, but very confusing. The lights: very flashy! They aren't as reactive as I'd like when put into music mode, but I'm sure I'll live lol. All in all, there's a few minor things that I'm not crazy about, but I still love that laptop. 9.5/10 from me!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the ram expandable or swappable? if so how much ram can it take? and is there at least one more nvme bay for expandable storage?**
A: Yes there are a total of 3 nvme bays and the ram is configured out of the box with 3200mhz ram. It’s a very easy process to upgrade these things and in my opinion the ram is perfectly fine unless you’re looking to upgrade to 32g-64g

**Q: Is the operating system stored on the 1tb ssd listed in the description? If it is, wouldn't filling up the ssd with games slow the computer down?**
A: Yes and no. It depends on how much you are putting on this m.2. You can comfortably fill it more then half with games with no issues. If you have more than 1TB of games I suggest you get yourself another M.2 as it can fit 2 additional.

**Q: how long it takes to charge the battery at 100%? (laptop turned off)**
A: Maybe2hours

**Q: Do the display supports Gsync?**
A: I am pretty confident it does support Gsync on external displays though, but I don't know yet of through the HDMI port or if you will have to get a dongle from USB type C to display port.
