I am finishing up the Level One Adult book, and starting Level 2. These are both Beginner level books. I had wondered how to progress when I finish Level 2, and am ready to advance to Intermediate. This is where you pick up. Level 3B is Early Intermediate. There are other extra books available, at this same level, to go along with these. Level 4 Intermediate, and Level 5 late Intermediate, are also available in like manner. I went ahead and purchased all levels to ensure that I will have them when I'm ready to start, and also to see the order in which things are taught. This curriculum is somewhat supported online, although some of the sources I use are not from the creators themselves. I have been extemely pleased that I chose this series, basing my choice solely on the opinions of others, as I had no prior knowledge to draw from. I have made great progress, independently, using the Piano Adventures series, and plan to continue moving through the levels, at my own pace. More affordable than private lessons, and definitely less nerve wracking!
