The "teeth" of this product do not "dig in". If you pull the top carpet using a horizontal force, you will find the top carpet easily moves, no matter how many of these things you use.UPDATESo, these things do not work. However, I know what WILL work and I'd be happy to pay anything you ask for this -I noticed that the adhesive backing on the round plastic toothed thing DOES firmly attach. I removed the plastic piece attached with the adhesive and it seems that removing the adhesive layer does not hurt the rug at all. I bet if I had just the adhesive material with adhesive on both sides, like double sided Scotch tape, that would work great. ### ⭐⭐ Doesn't really work... *by H***R on May 16, 2016* These don't really work. I have a runner on carpet in a high traffic area. It still moves. We could feel them through the rug. I think our rug is a little too thin for these heavy duty sized rug pads. Unfortunately, we had to return them.
