This item sharpens pencils to a very fine point without breaking the lead and is very easy to use, not to mention taking so much less space than any electric sharpener available along with taking not much more time to sharpen a pencil than those electric sharpeners. And like another reviewer mentioned, I can't even guess how long it will be before I have to change out the blades, but I am sure that they can be easily honed back into their original sharpness in any case, so I anticipate this being the last sharpener that I buy for the rest of my life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars These little sharpeners are great. They are small and do an excellent job of creating a nice sharp point for your writing pleasure! They come with replacement blades and little carrying cases so you don't get marks on your pocket, clothes or bag. I bought them specifically to use with the Mitsubishi HB Pencils for the Bar exam. They were excellent. My only critique (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that I wish they something built in to catch the shavings.
