Some Chinese-manufactured products are made to exacting standards and some are cheap and built with low quality. It will shatter under thermal load and shock. This IS a liability to you and your experiments. There was a man who lost his hands in a experiment to "pyrox glass" and not Pyrex. This might as well be pyrox glass full of eastern promise.
