Review: The best power chair out there - I am beyond satisfied with this chair. It gets me around better than any chair I have owned in the past. I am a Disabled Veteran with a Service Dog and we go everywhere with it. I love being able to go on hiking trails, zoos, shopping, etc and this chair allows me to do so with ease and comfort. The long battery life is very helpful as I do not have to charge it so often. It is very sturdy and made to very high standards. I constantly get compliments on the chair from friends and even strangers. Also, Porto Mobility has the most amazing and helpful customer service of any company that I have dealt with in the past 60 years.

**Q: What is the distance between the armrests?**
A: between Black Arm Pads 21" and below 23"

**Q: does it climb an 18.5 degree slope? (33.3% grade)**
A: It will climb a "wall" with the wheelie bars out.  Seriously, in don't know they technicals, but no upgrade worries me.   I drive it all over town.

**Q: Would a 6'4" 370lb obese rider be comfortable in the beast?**
A: yes, the Beast would be ideal wider and thicker seat with larger footplate as well leg room it offers comfy ride.

**Q: Will it go in the sand at the beach? We live on west coast!**
A: It may or may not. it would be depending on how deep and soft the sand is. In the mean time if this chair can't handle it no other chair in the same category would be able to handle it so.

"The Beast" is rightfully named. It is amazing outdoors. My disabled mother is able to go on hiking trails with us and move about outdoors with little to no problems. However, this is not suitable for indoor use. The joystick does not allow for the delicate finesse that her Hoveround does. I have major dents in my door frames because the joystick is "squirrelly" and the Beast is so powerful that it damaged the door frame. I have had this chair for 2 years and it very rarely requires charging. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. This chair has given my mom the mobility that she has longed for.
