But the elastic is the strongest I have ever seen in a Chelsea style boot. Also the opening is much narrower than Timberland, Sketchers, or Bruno Mark (garbage btw). So for the average height and weight adult male, no they are not easy to slip on or off. MADE in China also. **Q: Are these slip resistant?** A: Yes **Q: Are they solid black?** A: Yes **Q: I normally wear a 6/12 -7 women shoe size. What size should I order?** A: I normally wear a women’s 7 amd I ordered a 7. They were huge. The leather is snug but will definitely mold to my feet over time. I saw from all the reviews to size down and was a bit skeptical.
