Why did I choose this one when there are so many other options and some that are less expensive ? I wanted one with a solid metal plate (not the metal strip ones that have holes in the back or the plastic variety). I also wanted it to be easy and fast to assemble and disassemble. It doesn't get easier than this. It takes about 30 seconds to set it up. Spread the legs of the tripod, attach the metal plate on the tripod to the back of the holding plate and raise the height to whatever you want. That's it. It comes with many accessories that are nice but honestly apart from the bag and maybe the clip I don't think I'll be using any of them. By the way the clip is too short. The width is OK but it doesn't come down low enough on the plate to be truly useful in holding pages, a booklet or whatever IMHO. I really appreciate the two little page holders on springs that are permanently attached to the bottom of the sheet music holder. They are a lot more handy than I thought they would be. I use a 3” binder and have no problem. The stand is very sturdy. **Q: Can you move the rubber clips?** A: If you mean the clips that hold the music in place, yes, they have a full range like a windshield wiper. They are fixed to one axis point, but can be moved in a sweeping motion either way using that point as the axis. **Q: How hard is it to assemble? I would be taking it to different locations & need to be able to assemble and then take down.** A: Assembly is very easy. I put mine up and back into the bag all the time.
