Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention. Similar to how sweat cools the body, evaporative technologies use an external water source to draw heat away—helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief. From the Manufacturer Hot conditions are tough on workers and productivity. The Chill-Its Evaporative Series provides cooling through evaporation to keep workers comfortable all day long. This cost effective approach helps workers stay cool, fight fatigue, and increase productivity. And they're reusable - just resoak 'em and you're good to go. Our Chill-Its Cooling line is the best way to battle heat from the foundry to freeway. Evaporative cooling bandanas, headbands, triangle hats, and hard hat inserts keep cool comfort on tap for hours. No matter what the application, Chill-Its sees to it that cooler heads prevail. ## Features - PVA - Imported - INSTANT COOLING RELIEF - Hyper-evaporative PVA easily activates with water for up to four hours of cooling - SUN PROTECTION – Shades neck for protection against harmful UV rays - FITS MOST HARD HATS & SAFETY HELMETS – Hook & loop straps securely attach to suspension - LOW-PROFILE – For no-bulk wear with hard hats - LONG + WIDE NECK SHADE – For back-of-neck and ear coverage (Dimensions: 10.5in L x 14.75in W // 26.6cm L x 37.5cm W) - COMFORTABLE – 100% polyester - REUSABLE – Simply re-wet to reactivate cooling ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0091CBU2K | | Best Sellers Rank | #238,363 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #506 in Hard Hat Accessories | | Brand Name | Ergodyne | | Closure Type | Hook and Loop | | Color | Lime | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (324) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00720476125235 | | Included Components | 1 Neck Shade | | Item Type Name | Cooling Hard Hat Neck Shade - PVA | | Item Weight | 1.76 ounces | | Manufacturer | Ergodyne | | Manufacturer Part Number | 12523 | | Material Type | 40% polyester, 52% polyvinyl alcohol, 6% polyvinyl chloride, 2% cotton | | Model Name | Chill-Its 6670CT Evaporative Cooling Hard Hat Neck Shade - PVA | | Model Number | 6670CT | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | Standard | | Style Name | Cooling Hard Hat Neck Shade - PVA | | UPC | 720476125235 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | We stand behind everything we make and guarantee our products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for the lifetime of the product.
