**Q: Does the pole lock in place?**
A: The bottom slides into the the scrubber well and stays in place. The handle works well for me for as long as I have had. Not very long the metal brush I have no use for wish they had included twice scrubber s

**Q: Can the head be locked at an angle?  Has anyone used it to clean baseboards? Mine are 6” wide wooden with 4 groove. Super hard to bend and clean!**
A: The brush and the scrubber pad do have a locking feature to the handle portion, however, they cannot be locked into a specific angle.  The brush bristles are very stiff, so if using on painted surfaces, such as baseboards, you should not apply a lot of pressure since it will scratch the paint. I bought this specifically for cleaning bath tub and bathroom tiles and I am happy I no longer have to bend to get the job done.
