Review: Amazing wrap - This wrap was amazing 10/10 will definitely be buying again, but I’m gonna change up the color but I love this wrap vivid needs to sponsor me because ill be buying wrap from yall everytime I’m changing the color of my car
Review: Requires heat to activate good adhesion, but the final result is worth the effort. - The area in front of the sunroof was faded so I wanted something glossy to cover it to match the glossiness of the glass sunroof. This has a protective layer on top to keep the glossy surface glossy. I was concerned how scratchy it looked after applying it with a squeegee since the protective layer seemed extremely thin, but once I removed the protective layer I was very pleased with the outcome.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How to know what size of vinyl do I need for my project?**
A: Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide. Use a sizing chart for reference, buy a little more extra vinyl for errors, and use seams for large surfaces if needed.

**Q: Can my vinyl wrap survive the winter?**
A: Yes! Your vinyl wrap can survive winter with proper care. Use a ceramic coating like FUSE for protection, wash regularly with a vinyl-safe soap, avoid scrapers, and don’t use hot water or high-pressure washers. Park in a garage when possible.

**Q: What tools do I need to wrap my car?**
A: You'll need a heat gun to stretch and set the vinyl, a knife for precise cuts, a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles, buffers for the squeegee edges to prevent scratches, and a tucking tool for clean edges and tight spaces.

**Q: Why VViViD vinyl wraps are better than paint?**
A: At VViViD Vinyl, our wraps are more affordable than paint, fully reversible, and protect your car’s original finish. Unlike paint, wraps resist chips, UV damage, and scratches. Plus, they install faster and offer endless design possibilities!

**Q: Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation?**
A: Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for price
*by C***E on May 16, 2026*

Not good, I’ve worked with vinyl a lot and this is a very thick wrap you have to throw a lot of heat into it for it to stretch shop was sitting at 73 degrees and still seemed to cold, don’t know if I just got a bad sheet. it’s cheap so can’t complain or expect much but still wouldn’t buy again
