This system is set up to dispense 2 flavors of bag-in-box syrup, including soda water and plain water. It's very simple to hook-up (we've done all the work for you). The cold plate cooling unit is silent, does not use electricity, and installs neatly under your counter. Cold plate systems require ice to be placed over the cold plate and replenished as the ice melts. A plastic cooler/container (with or without a drain) is typically used to hold the cold plate and ice. The following items are necessary for the system to operate properly: CO2, water, syrup, electricity (115V AC), and ice (for the cold plate). Ice containers are not supplied with the system. I spent several hours that turned into three days replacing my water lines to the system in order to get the proper taste out of the machine.
