The L is 42 to 44 inches. I would think XXL would be 48-50 inches. I dont know why there isnt an XXL listed if they make one? **Q: Do you need to go one size up on vintage fila and tachini track tops?** A: Didn't find I had to go one up. The Medium I bought fits fine, no problem. If I went a size up the sleeves would be too rolly baggy and the top would also be longer around the waist. Depends what look you want but I don't like baggy. I think sizes today are generally ok, as they are on the tin. I have a genuine old Settanta top from Borg days and it's definitely tighter/smaller. It's the same with shirts from the 70s, they fit well snug. I can still get away with my 80s Settanta but the sleeves have no play whatsover. Humans have grown over time in stature (look at the young'uns nowadays) and manufacturers have on the most part complied to suit. In Asia they don't need to, smaller thinner people. I have a Terrinda top also which I still chose Medium. It's definitely more snug but not overly. It looks very smart/sleek, feels fine once on. Depending on your build, if you were wider you might go for a large (only with the Terrinda), it's a strange velvet material, just not as giving, beauty tho'. In my experince with tops, if you're a Medium usually, go for a Medium. same with Small/Large. Can you give the company a call for pit sizes?
