Tested real world accurate? Why have it if it's not?** A: I assume so but I have never brought a second thermometer along to compare it to and if I did how would I know if THAT one was right? However, this device was so wildly inaccurate, I would see no need to bring one to an airport anyway. Period! :( *by C***D on January 17, 2025* As others have said, the product is defective with the printing for 0deg C lining up with approx 25deg F. Hence it always reads 7 deg low when using the F scale. And there’s no returns to boot. For such a simple product, and one that takes pride for being “final assembled” in the US “we believe in small batch quality manufacturing,” you’d think it would be difficult to fail. Apparently the company lacks any quality control. Like c’mon, all you gotta do it stick it in an ice water bath to see if it reads correctly. Nope. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time!
