Easy to assemble as everything is included. This is what I learned. The lower you sit the more you push it away from ya. Hence all the straps and mats. Recliner was a no go cause of the angle and swivel. My adjustable drum throne did the trick and now I sit straight up so I’m putting very little pressure down and no need for mat or straps. Also it helps to raise your thighs instead of pushing so hard and space your feet evenly. Using this pedal machine at home means I can get a cardio workout without exposing myself to covid AND without re-injuring myself.I like using the display to keep track of how much time I'm working out. It's easy to use and reset. Although it makes a sound while using it, I would not call it noisy. It's a soothing, quiet whir or woosh.I don't think this machine has a fly wheel as stated in the listing. I'm not sure the tension knob really works. But for the price, and with my very basic needs, I'm happy with the purchase.
