Because P chain collar is wear cross head, so also consider chin to head size. 1: Measure wide neck size, and chin to head size, choose bigger one 2: bigger size + 4 inch = collar size of P style, as collar also count on rings size. For example, if the neck size in video are 12 inch, chin to head size are 14 inch, then we need to choose 18 inch collar size for dog with P chain collar. If you choose buckle style collar, then only measure neck size + 2 inch= buckle collar size.Which also shows in the video. When P chain work with leash, actually it likes adjustable because chain will slip according to neck and power which you pull. If normally your dog didnot wear collar, only come with leash use it, then you can choose more longer size for longer use, as dog neck grows fast for some period.
