I would recommend replacing a few other parts while you are there because you have to remove many things to get to these. I would also recommend put your three bolts in the top first and then line up the bottom hole. You could use a long screwdriver to straighten this piece if it is off center at all. As for the actual ride quality I can definitely see an improvement over stock. Or I should at least state, the original piece is almost 20 years old so I imagine anything new would be an improvements but these have worked great and it's been about a month. I had issues finding the correct struts as apparently they have different hole patterns for mounting during that timeframe and these fit. I have struts on the back from complete struts.com and on the front from Detroit axle. I am however not very happy with how my car rides now as compared to the factory or OEM struts. If I had it to do Over again I would probably go with OEM struts as opposed to these aftermarket struts as I feel that they are not of the same quality.
