I've been drinking matcha for many years. This matcha is a dark dull green. When mixed it is gritty & lacks a sweet taste. I even mixed it in the blender & it did nothing for the grittiness. It leaves a lot of sludge at the bottom of the cup whereas a true ceremonial grade does not.
