It sticks as soon as its on. I lightly put it onto the wall, not even pressing, and it was stuck on there good. Thankfully it was the correct measurements! There's not room to adjust, so make sure it's completely correct before you ever stick it on the wall. Worked well the first time. Has absolutely no chance of coming off, even in a shower room or bathtub stall. I haven't tried taking it off yet, maybe until the end of my lease, but the shower rod hasn't fallen down once since I purchased this. Very strong! It could last a few years, without a doubt. These have proven to be water resistant. The perfect solution for a falling shower rod. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved Me Money *by on Reviewed in the United States October 23, 2023* I recently discovered what I can only describe as the best adhesive ever made for shower fixtures and accessories, and it has revolutionized my shower organization.
