Thanks!** A: I think the handle could take it because it's reinforced pretty well (but it's not like a suitcase, where the handle is metal or plastic that slides into the body of the bag). There is no metal frame anywhere in the bag, so it won't keep its shape. It gets its structure from the ballistic nylon and hard plastic around the wheels. The handles also fall about 6", so if you were any shorter than 4' tall, rolling it to the park would be cumbersome.
