The noice cancellation of these is definitely superior to they HyperX pads.The cons for me which are negligible: Seems to trap/generate slightly more heat than the HyperX pads.Lastly, this could be a pro or a con depending on the person: The pads are thicker than they HyperX pads and clamp a little tighter on my head than I'm used to.
