That's if you are buying it for the ranging option. The glass is very clear. It comes with a quality case and the optic covers are well made and remain in place. No electronics to mess you up. Numerous times I've got an incorrect reading with high end lasers. But sometimes they are spot on too. I am pleased I purchased these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alot of Bino for the Dough $$ *by A***R on July 22, 2025* Just completed an out of the box review on these and the for the cost, I'd say these binos are very tough to beat with the long list of features, build quality, and optics clarity. The carrying case and straps are also good quality and I really appreciated having the reticle/compass light battery pre-installed from the manufacturer so the unit is ready to go out of the box. I also love that 2 extra batteries are included and that the reticle illumination only stays on when the button is depressed so as to save battery life. The reticle also has numeric grid indicators whereas some much pricier binos don't include a numeric scale. My only ding on this product is that the rubber eye cups, while soft, are not very comfortable/ form fitting to the face, but for $99 you can definitely live with it! Overall, these binos look, feel, and perform like a well made product.
