Review: Great figure, more like statue. - The only figure I had my eye on from McFarlane’s Dune line. Happy to have my long wait for a good price pay off at 60% of MSRP. The ball joint inserted into the figure provides the necessary but minimal posability— the fit is tight but a couple light hammer taps got the job done. Terrific figure and bonus points for resembling Skarsgaard. Can’t wait for pt II!
Review: Well constructed action figurine but has a couple flaws to it - I think the Baron Harkonnen figurine looks excellent on my night table. The only things bothering me about it were assembling the stick as it was very difficult to insert it as it does not fit right away. You need a hammer to hammer it in. One other thing is the base as it is very cheaply made and can crack if you are not careful with it. Well my only gripes about it as the figurine itself is well constructed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is he just supposed to balance on top of the stand or does it lock him into place?**
A: It locks him into place, but he will have a small range of movement from the ball joint. It was very hard to get the stand attached to the figure. I ended up heating the stand and still had to use a couple taps with a hammer to get it in.

**Q: Is the baron the same size as the other mcfarlan dune 2021 figures (paul, duncan, etc.) or a larger scale?**
A: He is 12 inches. The other figures are 7 inches.

**Q: What is the best way to get the figure on the stand?**
A: It is very difficult. I put Vaseline on the round end that will insert into the Baron and then folded cardboard to about 3 thickness and placed it against my palm to protect my hand. Shoving against the rod with the cardboard I was able to muscle it in place. Good luck.

I think the Baron Harkonnen figurine looks excellent on my night table. I really like the sculpt and the value for your bucks of this Baron Vladimir figure. This one is huge compared to the other Dune figures. It is very nice, but the possibilities for posing is limited. Again it looks nice, and will make a delightful centerpiece to your display, but other than that, meh.
