**Q: How are they for walking on small rocks and shells?? The beaches on the north shore of Long Island are not forgiving on your feet.**
A: I would not recommend these booties/ socks for that! I use them as a padding between my flippers and my feet when scuba diving

**Q: Are these suitable for wearing for sand volleyball to keep sand out and also to keep your feet from burning on the hot sand?**
A: I use for kayaking & they keep my feet warm in cold water, note the run small.

**Q: What is the difference between the gbs low cut and flat lock low cut? Thanks!**
A: I had this same question. Finally found the answer in one of the photos: gbs stands for glue bound seam, which supposedly helps keep water out and feet dry. Haven't ordered mine yet, so I can't say if gbs works better than the simple stitched seam.

**Q: Does feet get hot in hot sand?**
A: No really but sizes go small, but a bigger size
