Review: Super space & time saving gadget - Bought the Ninja 9 in 1 to replace my small air fryer & cracked slow cooker. Best move! I’ve used it tons in 4 weeks of having it: everything from soups, quickly reheating quiches or cooking pasta in minutes to cooking a meal like perfect lamb chops with mashed potatoes! It’s a great time saver too. I rate it highly because: - simple to use - saves time esp pressure cooking for the first part of the recipe and finishing off with crisping by the air fryer (chef’s kiss for this!) - great functionality so it’s a space saver - no need for lots of kitchen gadgets on your worktops - easy to clean parts - solid & well made - instructions & recipe book are well written & easy to follow. One minor point: the recipe book doesn’t cover how to cook one everyday staple, pasta (except as part of a recipe where penne is cooked in the sauce, so not useful to cook pasta on its own/different types of pasta). However, I found plenty of guides from Internet chefs which cover this!
Review: Brilliant cooker - This unit has many useful features. Having looked on you tube for ideas you are better just using common sense. The big advantage once you establish the mode of cooking as well as the temperature and time, a repeat of the operation is so easy, be it chips and things for kiddies to a roast chicken. Absolutely brilliant. The only minor negative is the handbook of recipes and guidance is in micro print a improved size of print would be very helpful. The internet has many sites which are helpful up to a point as they are mainly American and temperature guides are in Fahrenheit! The recipe principles are still the same. Bacon looped over the inverted rack is great after 9 mins on 200C and crisp and dry. A good cleaning tip for when cooking is completed, put the wire rack upside down in the bowl add drop or two washing up liquid then add 1 litre or so of water to cover the wire rack and shut the lid with the machine off. The residual heat will get the soapy water very hot and clean both the bowl and the wire rack while you eat. After 20 mins or so remove bowl and rinse out the residues. Two other issues to consider is the size of the machine it is not small and the separate pressure cooking lid has to be stored as does the crisper or wire rack. The other major consideration is where to use it, do not use it close to over bench cupboards etc, it generates steam and heat which exits from the top and could over time damage the cupboard facing etc. In use it needs to be ideally in clear open space not under cupboards. The setting of operations is very simple with a rotating knob to select and then push in centre to start. A very clever and useful addition to any kitchen which has the space to accommodate it. I have had this two weeks now and have made many bacon sandwiches, toasties, roast chicken, jacket potatoes garlic bread etc. They say if you can do it in a conventional oven you can do it in this Ninja. I am beginning to believe it.

**Q: I live alone is it worth getting for 1 person**
A: I live by myself, and own the max.  Bulk stews, soups etc which can be decanted into containers it's perfect and fast.  I've replaced my cooker with this. Baked items, meats etc are great. Removes the requirement to use a large cooker for 1 person. 7 litres of stew from raw ingredients to serve, 55 minutes, with beef falling apart.

**Q: Ninja Foodi Max can be replace for the deep fat fryer? And what is the maximum weight for a roast chicken?**
A: The Ninja Foodi is an air fryer amongst other things and many foods traditionally cooked in the deep fat fryer can cooked in the Foodi without the fats, but, some dishes require deep fat frying so the Foodi cannot replace the deep fat fryer totally.
As for the size of the chicken I would suggest one that allows for the circulation of hot air around it so that it cooks evenly, probably a medium sized chicken would be best and would be adequate for a family of four. Trial and error is the way to go on many things.

**Q: does it has a hallogen element?**
A: No the Ninja does not have this element.  Its very easy to clean no fuss,  Highly recommend this product.

**Q: Can this also replace a Rice cooker? If yes How do you cook rice in this?**
A: Hi! Can replace a rice cooker. Check the book is coming with the cooker.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't Live without It

What can i say, she is great. I waited for a long time before i was ready for a Multi Cooker or let alone a separate air fryer until this multi-cooking gadget came along when the prices had come down a lot more. Despite having many cooking functions, I only ever use it for Air Frying (not bothered with roast, bake, grill for which i prefer air fryer for better results or use the oven) and Pressure Cooker as I already own a separate Rice Cooker and Slow Cooker which with a good hindsight of not getting rid of them as they use much lower energy (= lower energy bills) and they can be used when the Ninja is busy cooking something else. I hardly use the saute function either as it's easier to do any initial frying on a conventional stove first. It is robust & well made from a Ninja brand. Be aware that it is big and heavy so takes up a lot of space on your kitchen worktop. I avoid air frying anything with a heavy marinade as they splutter all over the grill attached under the cover of the cooker....if you want to keep it mostly clean. Sure you can clean it but not right under. Overall I love the pressure cooking and air frying best of all which the Ninja does beautifully and with such great ease.
